God calls us all to minister to and serve others; for some, this call means leaving the safety and security of “home” to serve in another country. For Jarvis and Heidi deGroot, members of Willoughby Church, God has called their family to minister to children and families in Quito, Ecuador. It is our privilege to partner with them by being their “sending” church. They were commissioned into their service to the Alliance Academy International and For His Children on Sunday, July 5th, 2009. Thier ministry is endorsed by the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee and is working in partnership with Commission to Every Nation.
